Munster Go Home! 1966

Munster, Go Home! (1966). Debbie Watson (born 1949) was the third actess to play pretty cousin Marilyn Munster, after Beverly Owen (born 1937) and Pat Priest (born 1936).

The Munsters, with Mr. Gwynne; Yvonne De Carlo, as his Charles Addams-type spouse; Al Lewis, as their burlesque Count Dracula grandpa, and Terry-Thomas and Hermione Gingold, as the screwball British gentry from whom they inherit a title and the ancestral Munster Hall in Shroudshire, are resented and pushed around. Eventually, the Munsters win out but decide to go home. Unfortunately, none of them, including those normally wonderful pros, Terry-Thomas and Miss Gingold, are ever funny, even though Miss De Carlo utters the film’s most prescient observation: “Do you have a feeling we’re being stared at?New York Times.
